Late Shri Bhaichanddas G Patel was the first Chairman and Late Shri Kantilal Nanalal Patel.
was the first Managing Director. Shri Bhagwati provided leadership to the bank for 11 years as Managing Director and then 21 years as Chairman. Shri Navnitbhai Choksi, leading cloth merchant and social activist lead the Bank for 2 years as Vice Chairman, 16 years as Managing Director and 3 years as Chairman. One prominent Industrialist Shri Ramakant Bhojnagarwala has also provided leadership as Managing Director for 3 years and as Chairman for 3 years.
Bank’s Board comprises of prominent personalities from all the field of the Society. There are chartered accountants, lawyer, Industrialists, traders on the Board of the Bank. At present Shri Mahendrabhai K. Patel is Chairman and Shri Bharatbhai Patel is Managing Director
Patan Nagarik Sahakari Bank Ltd was established in Patan on 4th July 1963. With around One Lakh of Share Capital under the Chairmanship of Late Shree Bhaichandbhai Gulabbhai Patel advocate and Managing directorship of Kantilal Nanalal Patel.
These were the people with deep and abiding ideas, faith, vision, optimism and entrepreneurial skills. These dedicated men in charge of service and duly imbibed in them.
Even today our honorable founders and former trustees inspire a sense of feeling and respect in the bank.
The bank started journey from very small rented premises at Patan City with total Four Employees.
Gradually bank has developed in all kind of banking services to it’s customers and at present bank is working in it’s one branch with two own premises.
